MPL's main administrative headquarters are located on Navy property at the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center bayside facility in Point Loma. Building 106 includes administrative offices and laboratories that occupies 6,000 square feet.

MPL building 4 is a 20,400 square foot facility located in Point Loma that contains the Research and Development Shop, laboratory facilities for equipment development and office space. Building 4 is also the primary shipping and receiving center for MPL and contains areas for equipment testing and staging for sea trips.
